Terms of Service
By using Spoti.uk.com you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English so you can actually read them.
Last updated: 25 April 2026
1. The service
Spoti.uk.com ("the service") is a free web tool that takes a public Spotify share URL — a track, playlist, album or artist page — resolves the public metadata, fetches the corresponding audio from public sources, tags the file with title, artist, album and cover art, and delivers the result to your browser as a downloadable file.
Spoti.uk.com is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Spotify AB or Spotify Technology S.A. "Spotify" and the Spotify logo are trademarks of their respective owners. We are an independent project that operates on top of public information.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into a contract to use Spoti.uk.com. By accessing the service you agree to be bound by these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer and the DMCA Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. License granted to you
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Spoti.uk.com for personal, non-commercial purposes — that is, to make personal-use copies of audio you are otherwise legally entitled to listen to.
4. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Spoti.uk.com:
- Complies with the copyright laws of your country, including any private-copying exceptions and their limits;
- Complies with Spotify's own Terms of Use and any other agreement you have with the rights holder, label or distributor of the underlying recording;
- Is limited to content you are licensed to access and to copies you will keep for personal, non-commercial use;
- Does not redistribute, upload, sell, license, sublicense or publicly perform the resulting audio files.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Spoti.uk.com to:
- Download content you do not have the right to access or copy under applicable law;
- Bulk-scrape, mirror, repackage or redistribute downloads as part of another product or service;
- Probe, attack or interfere with the service's infrastructure (rate-limit evasion, denial-of-service, vulnerability scanning without authorization);
- Use the service to facilitate piracy, harassment, illegal surveillance or any unlawful activity;
- Abuse the cache, queue or any other shared resource — including by automating high request rates from one or more IPs.
We may rate-limit, block or terminate access in response to any of the above without prior notice.
6. Intellectual property
The Spoti.uk.com brand, design, text, code and configuration are owned by us. The audio you download is owned by its respective rights holders; nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any recording to you. You receive only the personal-use license described in Section 3.
7. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, that resolved metadata will be perfectly accurate, that every Spotify URL will be downloadable, or that audio quality or tag completeness will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoti.uk.com and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or substitute-service costs, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim — which, for free use of Spoti.uk.com, is zero.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spoti.uk.com and its contributors from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law — in particular, claims brought by rights holders alleging unauthorized reproduction or distribution of their works.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if continuing to serve you would expose the service to legal risk, or if we discontinue the service entirely. Sections 4–11 survive termination.
11. Changes to these Terms
Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be heard in the competent courts of England and Wales. Reach us at [email protected] for any questions about these Terms.
