Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before, during and after using Spoti.uk.com — supported Spotify content, audio quality, privacy, and how to fix common problems.

Which Spotify links does Spoti.uk.com support?
Any public Spotify share URL — tracks (open.spotify.com/track/…), playlists, albums and artist pages. Private playlists are not supported because the resolver can only read public metadata. Both spotify:track:ID URIs and short share links work after Spotify expands them.
Do I need a Spotify account or to log in?
No. Spoti.uk.com never asks for a Spotify password, OAuth grant or account. We only read public metadata from the share URL you paste.
What audio quality do I get?
MP3 at 320 kbps is the default and is free for everyone. Premium-only formats (M4A, OPUS, FLAC) and lower MP3 bitrates (128/192/256 kbps) are reserved for upgraded users. The 320 kbps MP3 is at the upper bound of what most listeners can perceive on consumer hardware.
Are tags and cover art included?
Yes. Every saved file is tagged with title, artist, album, track number, year and the highest-resolution cover Spotify exposes. Synced and plain lyrics are written when available so the file plays correctly in apps that read LRC.
How big can a playlist be?
There is no hard cap on how many tracks the resolver returns, but very long playlists (1 000+ tracks) take longer to package and may be rate-limited under heavy load. For best results, split very large playlists into batches of 100–200.
Can I download just one track from a playlist?
Yes — paste the playlist link, then click the per-track Download button on any row in the track list. Each row triggers an independent single-track job and tracks already in the cache return instantly.
Why is my download instant for some tracks?
Spoti.uk.com keeps a server-side cache of frequently requested files. If a track was downloaded recently in the same format and bitrate, the request bypasses the worker queue and the file is served from cache.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. The web app is fully responsive on iOS Safari and Android Chrome. Pasted links are auto-detected and paste-from-clipboard works where the browser allows it. Downloaded files land in your default Downloads folder.
Is my activity logged?
We process the link to fetch metadata and the audio, then deliver the file. Aggregate counts (jobs created, cache hits) are kept for capacity planning. URLs you paste are not retained beyond the lifetime of the job. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Why did my job fail?
The most common causes: a private/region-locked link, a removed track, or a transient resolver error. Refresh and retry. If a track is unavailable in your region on Spotify itself, it will not be available here either.
Is downloading from Spotify legal?
It depends on your jurisdiction and what you do with the file. Downloads should be limited to personal, non-commercial use of content you are licensed to access. You are responsible for complying with copyright law and Spotify's terms of use.
Is Spoti.uk.com affiliated with Spotify?
No. Spoti.uk.com is an independent service and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Spotify AB or Spotify Technology S.A. All product names, trademarks and registered trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
How do I report a problem or copyright concern?
